SEMO Health Network collaborates with Missouri Primary Care in the Clinical Quality Awards. As a result of our collaboration we are required to meet certain measures and goals.
Colorectal Cancer Screening is just one of the many measures we monitor and report on.
Our Clinical Quality Award goal for our patients aged 50 to 75 that have had an appropriate screening for colorectal cancer is 52.1%. Below you find the required goal along with a graph showing our actual percentage for SEMO Health Network as an organization as a whole.
Our current percentage of patients who have been screened for colon cancer is 43% . This report is run every 3 months for our Quality Assurance Committee to review, discuss any barriers and plan action steps to help achieve or maintain our goal.
